A Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM), Justin is an experienced senior emergency physician with more than 25 years experience working in the hospital system, both in Australia and overseas. He is also a Professor for the Ultrasound Leadership Academy, and Director of Emergency Ultrasound at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, past deputy chair of the ACEM ultrasound subcommittee, past chair of the ASUM CCPU committee and past ACEM representative on the ultrasound group of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine. Justin is also a published author (Emergency Ultrasound Made Easy, Bowra and McLaughlin, 2nd ed and Point of Care Ultrasound for Emergency Medicine and Resuscitation, 1st ed) and is also a Medical Advisor to Echonous Pty Ltd. His passions include telehealth, tele-education and ultrasound.

MEDCare is the division created in service and support of our doctors and Laura manages the team who manage everything from recruitment to onboarding, rostering and relationship management and facilitating international moves for our doctors as required.
A career in international recruitment has led Laura to join the team at My Emergency Doctor. She has successfully developed a network reaching nationally around Australia and also throughout the Middle East, UK, Canada and Asia Pacific. My Emergency Doctor has been able to capitalise on Laura’s skills leading a team in being able to develop and nurture relationships across multiple time zones in order to deliver the capacity required to meet the demand of our telehealth clients.
